United Way of Long Island was named a Finalist in the Innovation category in the 11th Annual Long Island Imagine Awards.
The new Board Chair for United Way of Long Island is Lynda Nicolino, Chief Legal Counsel of the Bethpage Federal Credit Union. Ms. Nicolino succeeds Alexander G. Bateman, Jr., Partner at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek P.C., who served as chair for four years.
Aaron Choo, Vice President Gas Field Operations & Programs Downstate of National Grid will serve as Vice Chair Elect.

United Way of Long Island recently elected David Lyons, Interim President and Chief Operating Officer of PSEG Long Island, to its Board of Directors.
David also serves as Executive Director of Special Projects for PSEG Long Island. In this role, he focuses on system improvements following Tropical Storm Isaias.
United Way of Long Island celebrated the dedication and support of individuals, organizations, corporations and labor unions at its annual UNITED TOGETHER Celebration Luncheon at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury on June 16.
Supported by longtime Title Sponsor Bethpage Federal Credit Union, the fundraising event raised $600,000 for United Way and its community impact partners. More than 400 guests enjoyed the mission-focused event with fellow Long Islanders who share United Way’s vision of neighbors helping neighbors.

January 11, 2022 (Deer Park, NY) - United Way of Long Island recently elected Westbury resident, Dana R. Boylan, Esq., former Executive Director of Nassau County’s Office of Youth Services, to its Board of Directors. In her immediate past role, she was responsible for funding, providing fiscal and administrative oversight, supporting youth development and prevention programs for over 40 nonprofit agencies.
