Long Island Insurance Community Gives Back And Raises $250,000 for Charity at 27th Annual Gala Event

At its core, insurance is a pillar of support for individuals and businesses and a fundamental priority for the Long Island Insurance Community (LIIC) to help those in need.

Over 300 guests attended the 27th Annual Gala at The Mansion at Oyster Bay, raising $250,000 to benefit United Way of Long Island, the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County, and Pal-O-Mine Equestrian, Inc. Since 1995, the LIIC has contributed more than $6 million to local nonprofit organizations.

The Annual Gala recognizes industry and business leaders who have demonstrated a commitment to the community that has improved the quality of life for their neighbors. This year’s honoree was William Misita, CPCU, Sr. Vice President, Philadelphia Insurance Companies.
