United Way of Long Island Provides programs for youth and displaced workers to be trained and prepared for the rapidly growing green constructions industry on Long Island. The E3 Workforce Readiness Center: the center for Energy, Efficiency, & Education is a 5,000 square foot training center located in Deer Park. This industrial warehouse has been transformed into a high-tech facility that now plays home to Long Island’s first training center to prepare students and participants for lifelong careers in the high-growth, high-demand green construction field.
