MASSAPEQUA RESIDENT DR. JANET A. LENAGHAN, DEAN, FRANK G. ZARB SCHOOL OF BUSINESS AT HOFSTRA UNIVERSITY JOINS UNITED WAY OF LONG ISLAND’S BOARD OF DIRECTORS

 United Way of Long island recently elected Massapequa resident Dr. Janet A. Lenaghan, Dean of the Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University, to its Board of Directors.  As the first woman Dean and under her leadership, The Zarb School of Business has earned top rankings for its undergraduate programs and its portfolio of graduate programs, including its online Masters of Business administration (MBA). 

“United Way of Long Island has been helping families in so many ways for more than five decades. It's an honor to be asked to serve, support and advance programs that create opportunities, improve lives and help our entire region flourish,” remarked Dr. Lenaghan.

Theresa A. Regnante, President and CEO of United Way of Long Island notes, “Dr. Lenaghan is committed to creating a culture of inclusion.  Her expertise will enhance our work to ensure that young people have the opportunity to receive an equitable and quality education.” 

Dr. Lenaghan received her Doctorate degree from Pace University, an MBA from the Frank G. Zarb School of Business, and her undergraduate degree from Adelphi University. Prior to being named Dean of the Zarb School of Business, she served in many executive administrative roles including Chief Human Resource Officer and most recently as Vice Dean of the Zarb School of Business.
