Renewable energy development in a net-zero world

Next Session begins September 14

The rapid growth of the sustainable construction and energy efficiency industries is creating strong demand for skilled workers. According to New York State, thousands of new workers will be needed in the coming years to support building modernization, electrification, energy efficiency, and other clean energy initiatives.

United Way of Long Island is helping meet this demand through its Workforce Development Training Academy. Based at the state-of-the-art E3 SmartBuild Training Center, the academy provides hands-on training that prepares participants for careers in renewable energy, sustainable construction, energy efficiency, and related industries.
