NORTHVILLE

Northville

A long-time supporter of Project Warmth, Northville Industries recently made its annual $25,000 contribution to Long Island’s Emergency Fuel Fund. During these cold days, many Long Islanders cannot heat their homes. Last year, more than 800 families were assisted with heating their homes through Project Warmth. Every year, the need far exceeds the dollars collected. You can help this holiday season by helping to celebrate our good fortunes by paying forward to our fellow Long Islanders. Support Project Warmth, Long Island’s only Emergency Fuel Fund.

Suffolk Transportation

Suffolk Transportation Service, Inc. headquartered in Bay Shore, NY called upon their many employees to participate in a Walk-a-thon on October 13th to raise money for the United Way of Long Island and Island Harvest. This year's walk-a-thon raised $10,000 which will benefit the United Way and the Island Harvest Back-Pack Program. This program is designed to supplement meals on weekends for children who depend on school breakfast and lunch during the week. President of Suffolk Transportation, John J. Corrado, who is also a board member of the United Way of Long Island, was on hand to participate in the Walk-a-thon.
