Competitive proposals for Ryan White Part A/MAI funded HIV/AIDS Services
Funding Period: June 1, 2019- February 29, 2020
The Nassau-Suffolk EMA receives funding from the U. S. Public Health Service, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to implement provisions of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (Ryan White Part A and Minority AIDS Initiative) and is seeking Letters of Intent to submit proposals. Funding in the amount of up to $2,361,664 may be available for new and/or continuation programs for the priority areas of Medical Case Management Services, Oral Health Care Services and Early Intervention Services.
Eligibility:
Eligible the provision of either medical care and treatment or supportive services to persons living with HIV/AIDS in the Nassau and Suffolk counties. Faith based agencies, women, veteran, minority-operated community-based organizations, and other community groups with a focus on racial/ethnic minority populations are strongly encouraged to apply. If applicable, applicants must be licensed to provide the services for which they are requesting funding.

A Letter of Intent Form (Appendix E) is required and must be submitted by email to the address below by February 15, 2019 by 5:00pm. All proposals are due to the United Way of Long Island no later than 5:00 PM on Wednesday, March 6, 2019. Please note that hand delivered proposals will not be accepted. Questions regarding the RFP will be accepted in writing to the email listed below by 5:00pm on February 13, 2019.
