United Way and Texas Roadhouse Partner for Veterans

In honor of Veterans Day on November 11, United Way of Long Island and Texas Roadhouse are teaming up to support Long Island veterans and military members.

Honor a veteran today by making a $10 contribution and a veteran will receive a Mission United t-shirt free of charge as a thank you for his/her service.

The first 20 people to donate $50 (5 Shirts) will receive a $15 voucher for a steak dinner at Texas Roadhouse.

Mission United is a vital program of United Way of Long Island offered to veterans and their families focused on employment services, education, financial well-being, housing and family support. Long Island is home to the second largest concentration of veterans in the US, making the coordination of these services of paramount importance.
