Classes Start Sept 6, 2023 

Apply for the Renewable Energy & Green Construction program, a FREE United Way of Long Island training program and certification that will help you secure a career in the renewable green energy industry. 

The Program operates out of United Way’s state-of-the-art E3 SmartBuild Training Center in Deer Park and includes:

  • Introduction to Wind Turbines, Solar Panel Installation and Renewable Energy
  • Hands-on High-Performance and Green Construction training for next generation Housing and Construction
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Building Science Principles Training Certificate from BPI (Building Performance Institute)
  • Training will be held Monday through Friday (4-6 hours each day – total of 120 hours) in Deer Park
  • Prepares trainees for high growth, high demand careers in the clean energy sector
  • Job placement resources are available upon completion
