Andrea Lohneiss, Regional Director, Empire State Development and Executive Director, Long Island Regional Economic Development Council, is our Elena M. Perez Pioneer Vision Award recipient. Andrea will receive the award which is named in memory of Elena M. Perez, a longtime Bank of America associate and Board Member of United Way of Long Island. Elena passed away in 2007, leaving a legacy of blazing a new trail in all that she set her mind to achieve. This award is presented to Andrea who personifies her leadership, devotion to philanthropy, as well as her energy, enthusiasm and optimism in creating better futures for Long Islanders. Andrea has been a guiding force for the Long Island Regional Council as well as in the development of the Wyandanch Opportunity Agenda.
