USTA Eastern Long Island Supports Returning Military Veterans Through United Way of Long Island

The United States Tennis Association of Eastern Long Island (USTA) recently teamed up with United Way of Long Island to hold its first Corporate Tennis Challenge Fundraiser at the Port Washington Tennis Academy. Tennis
The event raised $2,500 to benefit United Way’s Military Family Assistance Project, which supports programs that serve Long Island military, reservist and National Guard personnel active in Operation Enduring Freedom and/or Operation Iraqi Freedom/New Dawn and their families. The contribution will provide rehabilitative and recreational tennis programs for returning military veterans and their families.
