JACQUELINE WILLIAMS JOINS UNITED WAY OF LONG ISLAND AS YOUTHBUILD PROGRAM COORDINATOR, HEMPSTEAD

United Way of Long Island welcomes Jacqueline Williams as YouthBuild Long Island Program Coordinator, Hempstead. She is responsible for daily coordination of curricular activities of the YouthBuild Hempstead program, which serves young adults from the Village of Hempstead.
 
Most recently, Jacqueline served as a clerk for HempsteadWorks. Previous experience includes supporting special populations as a case manager for Housing Works, based out of Manhattan. 
 
“We are happy to have Jacqueline join United Way, as her role is vital to the success of YouthBuild in Hempstead. Her knowledge of the community will benefit the program exponentially,” said Jenette Adams, YouthBuild Long Island Program Director at United Way of Long Island.
 
Jacqueline is passionate about engaging with her community. “I look forward to working with our young adults and witnessing their personal growth that comes with perseverance, determination, and the achievement of sought after success,” Jacqueline said.
