Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Part A/MAI Funding 2018-19 Request for Proposals

Competitive proposals for Ryan White Part A/MAI funded HIV/AIDS Services

Funding Period: March 1, 2018- February 28, 2019.

The Nassau-Suffolk EMA receives funding from the U. S. Public Health Service, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to implement provisions of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (Ryan White Part A and Minority AIDS Initiative) and is seeking Letters of Intent to submit proposalsFunding in the amount of up to $375,701 may be available for new and/or continuation programs for the priority areas of Medical Nutrition Therapy, Outpatient Ambulatory Health Services, Oral Health Care (Nassau County Only) and Emergency Financial Assistance (for Eyeglass Vouchers).

Eligibility:

Eligible organizations include not-for-profit 501(c)(3) community based organizations or not-for-profit public agencies with experience in the provision of either medical care and treatment or supportive services to persons living with HIV/AIDS in the Nassau and Suffolk counties. Faith based agencies, minority-operated community-based organizations, and community groups with a focus on racial/ethnic minority populations are strongly encouraged to apply. If applicable, applicants must be licensed to provide the services for which they are requesting funding.

How to Apply:

A Letter of Intent Form must be submitted by February 2, 2018 by 5:00pm.  This form can be found on www.unitedwayli.org and emailed to the address below. To access the form, click on the HIV/AIDS button under featured initiatives and then on RFP process on the HIV/AIDS Grants Management page.  The Request for Proposal (RFP) is also available on this page.  All proposals are due to the United Way of Long Island no later than 5:00 PM on Friday, February 23, 2018.  Please note that hand delivered proposals will not be accepted.  Questions regarding the RFP will be accepted in writing to the e-mail listed below by 5:00pm on February 2, 2018.
