RESTORE

The RESTORE Program helps low-income senior homeowners (ages 60+) in Nassau and Suffolk Counties to pay for emergency home repairs to eliminate hazardous conditions that pose an imminent threat to the homeowner’s life, health and safety. Grants are awarded for heating, plumbing, electric and other emergencies. Assistance is limited to a one-time grant per family, per address, up to a maximum of $7,500 and applicants must meet low-income guidelines based on the number of household members.
