United Way of Long Island Holds Successful Business, Labor & Employment Council Career Fair

United Way of Long Island's First Long Island Business, Labor & Employment Council Career Fair was a huge success! There was over 40 employers on hand, holding on-site job interviews with over 100 job seekers from Nassau, and Suffolk Counties including Untied Way of Long Island's YouthBuild Long Island students. Fios1 News was also on hand to interview YouthBuild Graduate and Construction Instructor Gabriel Orengo as well as some of the YouthBuild Students that were on hand.

This career fair was a result of the efforts of United Way of Long Island’s Business, Labor & Employment Council. This is a signature program founded and funded by JPMorgan Chase & Co. which brings local businesses and training programs together with the not-for-profit world in order to create career development opportunities on Long Island.
