Nancy W. Larson Joins United Way Of Long Island’s Board Of Directors

United Way of Long Island recently elected Kings Park resident Nancy W. Larson to its Board of Directors. Nancy is the General Manager at the Tanger Outlets in Deer Park, overseeing the shopping center with more than eighty stores, a bevy of restaurants, a movie theater and outdoor attractions since August of 2011.

“United Way of Long Island and Tanger Outlets Deer Park have worked closely together for some time, not only because the two are next door neighbors but because our values align,” remarked Nancy. “It will be an honor to join this group of dedicated and altruistic individuals as a member of the Board of Directors.”

“Nancy’s authentic enthusiasm for giving back to her local community is rarely found in today’s society, and we look forward to bringing that passion to our Board of Directors,” added Theresa A. Regnante, President and CEO of United Way of Long Island.

Previously, Mrs. Larson served as Vice President, General Manager at various Neiman Marcus store locations throughout the United States.  She was responsible for all phases of store plant operations, sales and overall management at each location.  She has been at retail-related companies for all of her professional career.  Mrs. Larson served on the Susan G Komen North Jersey Board of Directors and is currently serving on the Deer Park Chamber of Commerce Board.
