United Way of Long Island Welcomes Irene Morlock

United Way of Long Island is proud to announce Yaphank resident Irene Morlock has joined the organization as manager of special events. Irene will be responsible for overseeing strategic fundraising plans and the execution of events throughout the year, as well as enhancing engagement experiences with donors and the public.

Prior to her position at United Way of Long Island, Morlock served as an Assistant Director of Development at United Cerebral Palsy of Suffolk for fourteen years. During that time, Morlock assisted with the planning and implementation of all campaigns, in addition to assisting with the creation of planned giving campaigns and seminars.

“I am thrilled to be joining the United Way of Long Island family which is offering me the opportunity to be working with a dynamic and successful team,” said Morlock. “I look forward to contributing to the team's efforts and adding to United Way of Long Island’s reputation for outstanding service to the Long Island community.”

In her spare time, Morlock is part of the Yaphank Historical Society, where she takes on several volunteer projects to help her local community thrive.
