Heritage Society: Planned Giving
Become a member of United Way of Long Island's Heritage Society by making a gift to United Way through your will or estate plan. In addition to having your estate care for your family, your will should reflect your charitable philosophy and provide support for those organizations that perform work important to you and your family.

A gift through your estate provides you with the following benefits:

  • The opportunity to make a major gift while preserving your assets during your lifetime.

  • A possible reduction in federal estate taxes.

  • The opportunity to help secure the future of Long Island communities through perpetual support of United Way of Long Island's mission.
