Surviving the Economy Guide

As individuals and families, facing difficult times is inevitable. Each year, United Way of Long Island compiles a list of local resources for Long Islanders may need during times of hardship due to the current economic climate.

Resources include health and human service agencies and organizations that address debt/budget counseling, foreclosure/mortgage defaults, emergency financial assistance for utilities, food and rent, and job placement and referral/retraining/career counseling.
