Georgette Beal

Georgette Beal serves as United Way of Long Island's Senior Vice President of HIV/AIDS Grants Management. Beal’s responsibilities include overseeing the contractual and funds administration of Ryan White Part A programs on Long Island, the coordination of activities of the Nassau Suffolk HIV Health Services Planning Council, and the programmatic, administrative and fiscal oversight of the Nassau-Suffolk Ryan White Part B HIV Care Network. 

Prior to joining United Way of Long Island, Beal was the Health Program Administrator for the New York State Department of Health/AIDS Institute. 

In this position, Beal worked to coordinate the statewide Ryan White Part B HIV CARE Network Initiative; develop policies for the operation, monitoring and evaluation of statewide consortia; develop and conduct provider trainings and presentations on community coordination, collaboration, and community development. She also supervised Masters level contract managers that monitor and oversee HIV/AIDS Network, nutrition, legal, mental health and supportive services contracts as well as manage and monitor Medicaid supported Case Management Programs.
